Transparent Oxidized Copper Green
Clear glazes show cracks more so than opaque glazes, so a good fit between the clay body and the glaze can visually affect the look of the glaze.
While I have customers that prefer the crazed, cracked look of pottery, I am always aiming for the best fit to my glazes - - no cracks is my goal. I want this glaze to melt and run down the pot just a little bit giving a melted look to the straight lines of iron and titanium that I paint on top of the glaze before firing.
