Matte Green Glaze
In an attempt to create a stone-like glaze for food service, I started my ceramic life searching out matte glazes. Tony Hanson has many glaze recipes readily available and this glaze was a direct result of his previous work.
Using copper and cobalt, I get a very plant-like green, and under the beige I start to get the stone glaze I was originally aiming towards. Now it forms the base green in the striped line of work I have been making.
